Letter from America : A weekly column which has been running for over 50 years ! Written by Alistair Cooke. This column is actually what inspired me to start my worldview column - although I doubt mine will last 50 weeks, never mind haft a century. Cooke died circa 2004, and will be missed.

Richard Reaves : This guy has a tendency to see the worst possible case scenario- Mr Doomsday indeed.. I've often wondered if he is a depressive, yet his writing is sharp, and he is passionate in his anti-government stance.

Maggie Gallagher : She is one feisty moody journalist. Some of her views outrage even me, yet sometimes she hits the right note, definitely worth reading a few of her latest posts.
