Hard-drives : Serial ATA, a new method of data transfer. Faster, more reliable.

Interface slots : 3GIO , will replace the aging PCI interface, this will primarily aid multimedia issues.

RAM : DDR-II  : making SD-RAM truly out of date, and the successor to DDR-I.
